I live half a mile from the border and was thinking about putting a toggle switch on the ignition wire the runs from the fuse box to the key. So when i flip the switch off, the car can never be hotwired. Will this work or will I screw something up with the computer?

 

put in a killswitch? i did this to my jeep just hide the switch real good.

 

where can i find one, is it hard to install?

 

i just used a generic toggle switch from kragen. real simple to install. just find the constant to the ignition cut it and wire the toggle in between the two sections
