IROC or Charger?

IROC or Charger?
Coming next summer I'm facing a bit of a dilemna... Whehter or not to buy and IROC-Z or a 69 Charger. I realize that on this website I"m obviously going to get a biased response, but I just wanted to hear what some other car guys think. The main purpose of this car will be for simply having fun. Whether I get a Charger or an IROC it will be rough around the edges with all the money dumped into performance for those weekend runs around the road courses in Indiana and ripping through the back roads just for kicks. My question is whether or not you guys think I would enjoy the Charger or the Camaro the most. I currently own a 1978 Z28 and love the car... but it just not quite what I want. I've owned a 83 Trans Am and remember have some great times with that car even though it was slower than hell. Anyway, opinions and other suggestions are very welcome, thanks for any input.

RE: IROC or Charger?
#1 money
a 69 charger is running right now for about 60,000 - 80,000 mint due to the Dukes of Hazzard
and a 85 up IROC Z will run you from 0 to 3500 roughly
#2a Charger depending on what motor you get with it ie(440 with a 6 pack)
parts are more expensive to buy compared to a 350 or 305
now performance wise anything with 500 horse stock is gunna kick ***
so really if you have the money to buy and modify a 69 charger i'd say go for it
you can't beat having a fatory pistol grip shifter.

RE: IROC or Charger?
Well I love Camaros but I also love MOPAR. The problem with an old charger is the only way youll be able to get one at a reasonable price is if it needs lots of work.(Unless you find a screamin deal) To be able to do the lots of work you need parts with are hard to come accross for that type of car. Id say unless you find a Charger that runs and doesnt need a overhaul then go with an IROC because those things are fun.
