Default '99 Z28 vs '09 Charger R/T

I have a '99 Z28 LS1 Camaro that is a 6 speed manual. It is all stock except for FlowMasters cat back. My roommate got an automatic '09 Dodge Daytona Charger R/T. It is completely stock. He let me drive it and it is a pretty smooth ride, but it doesn't feel as powerful as my car IMO. How do you think a race would go between our cars?

Camaro all day long

Even the 425bhp srt8 does 0-100 in mid 16s. A camaro will hit 100 in around 13s

Yeah, those SRT's have about 800 extra pounds of weight to carry around.

Charger is so damn heavy! The R/T is rated @ what 376 HP @ crank? The Z will dispatch it just fine with the Charger packing nearly a half a ton of extra mass & the automatic seems less than performance oriented. I drove one of the R/T's & didn't get too excited.

Well he is talking like it is so quick, but the thing is I drove it and even did the auto stick and it still felt slower than my car. It is a nice car though

It is actually 368 I believe, and I did some research and found that the Charger weighs a little over 4150lbs, which is about 650lbs more than the '99 Z28? I am finally getting around to getting the SLP CAI, ABL, and Bellow, after having my car for 3 years now... (college takes a lot of money, lol)
