Interceptor swap

Default Interceptor swap

I have a 1992 Camaro RS that needs a engine swap, I was thinking about the police interceptor engine. Do you guys think its a good idea? if so what goes with the swap? What do i need? If not, whats a better suggestion? Im new to V-8's so im gonna need advice

well what size engine is in you car? TPI or TBI? 5 speed trans or auto?

its a 6, auto. im not sure ifs TBI or TPI. The bad part is, im in Iraq right now, so i cant really look at my engine untilI get back. but any tips will help.

that would be cool. might need some extra work if the engine is coming from a Crown Vic Interceptor tho. if its coming from a caprice with the LT1 or the Camaro with the B4C Police package it should'nt be too difficult.
Id go with the LT1 just because it will be similar components and the BW T56 tranny. That car would be **** hot. heres a link to the LT1 swap

when you get back you should check a salvage/junk yard. they sometimes have good treasures. good luck
