3rd gen 92 rally sport,3.1 engine idles at 3000 RPM when starting up cold ,After warming up to temp still idles fast between 1500 and 1750.Chat GPT suggested idle air control valve as most likely cause. Replaced idle air control valve. No change. Vacuum lines good. Idle starting at 3000 happened all at once, making me think it's a component and not a intake air leak. Fuel injected, not a throttle body .Any body had this happen and figured out the solution?

Yes,it just showed check engine. It has been fixed. Intake leak. Runs normal now.
