Good answer Tom, "NO SALE" . Now justfor"chits and giggles, what if? this guy calls back, and you ask him if he had a # in mind? and he blurts out 5 thousand, and you say? "NO SALE" double that and it's yours. LOL( CASH ONLY)

lol i had a guy offer me 10k once, never heard from him again though... dammit.
but if he blurts out something around 5k cash, its gona be hard to turn it down, i might have to think on it for awhile...

To the people valuing cars, keep in mind different regions have very different price ranges. For here (Vancouver) cars are expensive and i'd show up at your front door with 5K cash. That being said 5,000 does seem worth it, it's not about the money you put into it but the sweat, time, and probably blood. If it runs great and there are no problems with it don't sell even at 5K. If he's serious and offers 8K+ then it'd be worth considering.

You cant sell your child! Well Tom if i had an extra 6 or 7 k i would buy it, because i know that car is spoil rotton just like mine. I take better care of my car! then i do my girlfreind, definately spend more time with the car. And the only time my ears burn is when i crank the music. If i win the lottery 2 nite I'll buy it from ya Tom then give it back to ya. Dont worry i dont stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning the lotttery.
