HVAC Blower Motor Help?

HVAC Blower Motor Help?
The HVAC interior fan blows a fuse very quickly no matter what setting the fan is on. My thought is that I need to replace the HVAC Blower Motor, but how can I be sure?
Also, does anyone have pictures, video, or manual on where the blower motor is and how to remove it on my 1990 Camaro?
One last question, has anyone found an online or PDF manual for the 1990 Camaro RS 5.0
Thanks in advance,
Ron

what amperage fuse are you using? have you tried a fuse with a higher amperage rating? will it blow at full speed? if so, that wouldnt be caused by the resistor. if it still blows, check the wiring on the passenger side firewall. if the fan motor is bad, it wont draw as many amps. its more than likely a short. does the fan work at all?

Thanks for your reply! The stock fuse is 20 and we went up to 30 and it still blows.
The fan does work and sounds fine, but it used to blow the fuse after a few days. Now it blows the fuse after a few minutes.

I took after the passenger side firewall cover, but I still cannot identify the fan. I am not seeing what I would expect.
Anybody have a 1990 view of the passenger side firewall area? BTW, I am now thinking it is definitely a short, but I still cannot figure out where to look.
TIA,
Ron

The blower motor is just to the left of your ac box on pass side of car when you are standing in front of car. you can see the round end of the motor sticking out and the wire plugged into it. Blower relay is also right there, have someone turn blower motor switch from high to low and you can feel which one of the relays clicks so you know which one it is.
