Hey guys im new to the forums.

Im interested in trading my 96 CBR 900rr for this guys Camaro. He has it on it sale for 2500, my bike is worth at least 3000.

He says it has a 79 Corvette 350 swapped into it, if thats the case then it should worth more than 2500. I want to let you guys, the experts, evaluate the car and tell me if im getting a good deal.

That is indeed not the original 305 that the car was equipped with. As for it being a corevette motor...who knows and to be honest that is not a barn burner either. 79 350's were lower compression motors with not the best heads in the world...better than the 305's, but not by a lot. In my opinion an 88 350 TPI would be better than the 79 350 motor stock vs. stock. Also, being a T5 concerns me a little bit as they weren't noted for their strength over time. I believe its worth what he is asking for it. There are so many great original low(ish) mile 3rd gens for smoking deals out there. If it checks out, then fine, but most 3rd gens have no real value at this time.
