Hooking heater core back up
Got a '92 with a 305 and A/C. Heater core was disconnected and bypass valve put in by previous owner. Got myself a new heater core and want to hook it all back up again.
I read in other posts that the 3/4" line goes to the Intake and the 5/8 to the WP. Problem is I see nothing coming from my water pump. The bypass valve is plumbed as follows:
Soft hose from radiator goes to hard pipe. Hard pipe tees off and one end goes to soft pipe with flush tee and into one port on the bypass, with the other end coming up the back of the engine and (where it once looked like it may have gone to the heater core) loops back to the second nipple on the bypass. The third and last nipple has a soft hose going to the back of the intake manifold.
So i'm thinking the hose from the intake just gets plugged into the large outlet on the heater core and the one from the radiator goes to the smaller one. But what happens to the hard line tee where the flush tee comes from?
