Default High Temperature

I was on my way to an upholstery shop so I could get my headliner re-done, and I looked at my temperature gauge and it was burning up! Just to add to the drama, the freakin shop was closed, even though they told me they'd have somebody there. I let the engine cool off for about 15 mins, then headed up to a gas station around the corner. Thankfully they had a water hose in the back, so I filled up my radiator and started the engine. Turns out that the heater control valve is leakin up a storm. I just replaced it about 3 months ago too. how gay.

Sorry, i really needed to vent.

I didn't even bother to check what temp. the water was from the hose. I got home and put warm water in after the engine had cooled for about an hour.

I just got back from Advanced Autoparts where I had replaced the part under warrenty. The place is about 2 miles away, so the engine was pretty warm when I was changing out the part. The temp. seems back to normal, so I guess what I did worked
