Default High Beam Switch Non Functional

I tried doing some work on my cluster and dropped the steering column. Long story short, when I bundled everything up, my highbeam switch does not function. I can tell it's the switch itself because it doesn't "click" when I pull the lever forward. Anyone know how to take this switch out so I can either repair it or swap it out?

Thanks!

The switch is towards the bottom of the column there's a metal rod that pushes it and a piece of plastic between the lever and the rod I'm thinking that fell out of place

would you be able to give me alittle instruction on taking the column apart or any pieces that I might have to remove to fix the issue?

I gave up on the little plastic thing. I posted instructions for an alternate solution here

The floor dimmer would work but I'd try to get the rod hooked up if you can. When you pull the lever can you see if it's moving down at the switch?
What year is yours?

I'm not really sure what to look for here. I'd like to get some pics and instruction for reference before I start taking thinks apart so I don't break anything.
