Help please!
Where is it recommended that I connect a chain to the motor to pull it up and support it while I swap the k-member? I do not want to pull the motor, only support it with a chain hoist and A frame while I do the k member swap.

he is removing the sub frame.
I am guessing someone removed the factory install lift rings.
You can use the exhaust manifold but if the bolts are really rusty you may end up with a manifold leak. Relative to the weight of the motor any decent bolt 3/8” or larger bolt will work. It is all about balance and leveling. Whenever the factory hooks are removed I like to remove intake bolts and install longer one but since you not removing the intake you should not do that. Next I would look for accessory bolt (front of the motor) and a tranny bolt (opposite side back of the motor.) Since you are just lifting the motor a little you could use 2 bolts up front.
Most important thing is “DO NOT” put anything under the crank pulley to lift it. You can damage the engine.
