Hello, everyone. I'm likely going to be buying a '91 RS305 soon, and among a few minor repairs I need to take care of is the replacement of the heater core. This is my first post, first heater core replacement, first Camaro, and in fact my first car. So I was wondering if you all have any newbie advice you think I could make use of. I will be guided by someone who knows cars in general, but no one who is good with Camaros in particular. I've read about removing the ECM, and draining coolant, and other such miscellaneous tricks, but seeing as this is my first time, I was hoping you guys might be able to give me a little insight before I dive into my brand new dashboard.
