Default going to check out a 91 z28

the craigslist reads at

Black exterior, black and grey interior. 108K original miles. Car has been taken care of over the years. It has the LB9 305(TPI) with auto trans. Trans works real good, ac, power windows (both new) power door locks, cruise, tilt, power seat, t-tops. Not perfect but in good daily driven shape. It has a new catalytic convertor. I have replaced the fuel pump and filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, thermostat, front brake calipers, car is tuned well. Tires and wheels have 6700 miles on them. The prevous owner paid $1485 at Les Schwab. Clean Oregon title. Price is firm.
just via researching over the years and asking around, ive been told the transmissions are somewhat troublesome on these years. im going to look at it tomorrow(the 4th of july). so probably cant get a mechanic out there with me.

i am looking for tips or things you more knowledgeable camaro owners would have for me.

From your description it sounds like a good buy (didn't state price??). About your hearsay info on the Tranny, it is the 700R4 but Electronic controlled 460E and unless it been abused there should not be problem with it. Again you are buying a 18 yr old car and it is not going to be factory fresh. If it is one owner fine, but if it had numerous one be aware of its history.
