If you get a 3:73 limited slip rear from these guys I will be totally surprised. Good luck in your quest for this limited production rear. Another 2:73 rear will show up.

Holy crap. He just called me and said he has a 86 Firebird 3/73 posi with disk brakes. Is it gonna fit?

 

There were 86 Firebirds with a 3:73 ratio so he correct on that item. Again Do Not take his word at face value and use that stamped ratio and picture of the Limited Slip to go by.Yes, that rear will fit with no major problem,the same 10-bolt were used on both the Camaro/Firebirds. The early disc brakes were the pits and I hopeyou can get them to work. Good Luck
