Default Gauge Cluster not working at all... new and need help!

Hey guys. I just got my 89 rs the other day and all the gauges dont work. None of them. Not even the back light when I turn the lights on? so that makes me think that its not getting any power to it. Which makes me think its a fuse, and which one? Kinda not convenient cause I have no idea how fast im going how much gas ect lol.. Any thoughts or ideas. things to look for or be aware of? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks in advance!

If nothing works, not even the lights, then check the plugs on the backside and make sure they are in all the way. Back side of gauge cluster.

Alright I will check that once I get home today. I know I saw on one thread when I was searching the gauge cluster problems they said it was kinda hard to get out. What's the fuse number under the dash cause my writting and numbers are kinda messed up so I can't tell what they say just the numbers. Cause it may be that?

the gauges and lights on run on two different circuits. i dont remember the number, but the gauges use a pink wire. mine kept shorting inside of the printed circuit board and went aftermarket for gauges. the lights still work though. pull it off and check the plugs

Yeah I took the dash off yesterday and man was it crammed up behind that dash! But the two clips weren't even plugged in? I tried to push them in but couldn't get my hands in there good enough... Is there like something they are suppose to attach too?
