This is a bad way to join a forum but I am in need of some desperate help. My buddy has a 1982 Camaro iRock that is set up as a drag racing car. We are going to New Jersey Wednesday evening for a race on Thursday Friday Saturday. Short and sweet we broke the gas pedal last night the plastic piece that holds the gas Pedal lever to the firewall snapped and the gas pedal got stuck beneath the break so when we hit the break the car accelerated that was scary enough as it is but now we need this part to get the car back together I would be willing to pay for just the plastic part or the whole gas pedal assembly if somebody has it

 

Have you checked a dealership .a wrecking yard .an aftermarket outfit like Lokar.?Just a thought
