When I purchased this car last week and filled it with gas, I noticed a strong fuel odor coming from it while driving. I got to my brother's shop and up on the lift, I found that fuel vent valve (the little white thing with one hose connection) had been broken.

I have since checked at 3 junkyards, the dealership, just about any auto parts place I can think of as well as just about anywhere online. The part is discontinued, nobody has any. The GM # is 10033125.

Can anybody tell me where I can find one of these? Again, tried the dealer, gmpartsgiant.com, JC Whitney, Summitt, Car Quest, Napa, AutoZone, etc.

Thanks. Just placed the order. Hopefully, they really have it. I already had one place cancel an order, they said they had it and then I got the email that said it was discontinued.

 

Well, as expected I just got the "Cancelled Order" email. Says the part is discontinued. So, I either need to find one used or find someone that has one in stock.

Any other suggestions? I just posted in the Classified Section.
