Looking for a fuel sending unit for my 82 Z/28. Trying not to do any mods like replace fuel tank or gauge. I have poured over a bunch of sites with no luck. Could it be something else that is making the gauge read wrong? It reads as the 1/4 tank mark is empty. It also moves up and down a lot. I'm newbie as far as mechanics go but, I'm trying to learn. Any help would be awesome.
