Default fuel pump wont run

Ok guys;
I've tried hot wiring the fuel pump at the relay with no success. Then I hot wired the pump at the trunk connection and it will run. I have tore the back carpet up on the wall where the connection goes inside the car and am trying to follow it forward. can anyone tell me where it comes out up by the front seats so I don't have to rip up the entire interior of the car to just fond out it is in plane view in the front under the dash?
thanks for ant help anyone can give me.
momma aint happy without her car and we all know what happens when momma aint happy...... NOTHING....

Ok up date guys. I broke down and pulled the tank and then pulled the pump.....omg!!! I'm glad I did the hose that connects the pump to the steel fuel line had all melted!!!!
The fuel "filter" under the pump had fallen apart and crumbled. I'm picking up a new pump from O'Reilly's in the morning and hopefully have the tank and exhaust and diff. all back in and ready to go by super bowl kickoff time.

That's how my old 91 was, the little connector hose deteriorated, but my pump still ran. But in addition to that hose being bad, you also have an electrical issue, as that hose has nothing to do with weather or not the pump runs.

Put the new pump in and now i have fuel at the carb.... And yes I have a adjustable pressure regulator in the feed line that knocks the pressure down to 4 lbs. and the regulator has a return line also.
So yahoo I have fuel again !!!!!!
