Default Fuel Pump Safety Cut-off Switch ??????

Ok here goes-hope someone can please HELP me!!!

I need to know where the reset switch is for the fuel pump. The car was hit in the rear end and it wont get any gas up to the motor. I've been told there is a reset switch that shuts off the fuel pump. I need to know where that switch is located at on the car.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I really need to get movin again!

Thanks,
Leesa

Default no start issue

Alright so I put on a new fuel pump primed it on battery first put everything back in the tank but I have no power to the pump. I do however have power to the fuel pump fuse and the ecm fuse which I replaced both but the thing is I don't have any power at the fuel pump relay nor as I said before on any of the wires going to the pump. Is there a possible reset switch or what else would I need to check

You should have 12v at the orange wire to the relay. If not, check the voltage at the 20 amp inline fuse holder. If not 12v, check for an open red wire between the fuse holder and the junction block. Check at the junction block just behind the right side headlight. If there is 12v at the fuse holder, look for an open in the orange wire to the relay.

And to answer your other question, your car doesn't have a reset switch.
Moved thread to the 3rd gen section.

alright that 20 amp fuse keeps blowing and I can't figure out where I have the short at but my check engine light is on is there a code that could be tripping that fuse plus keeping the fuel system down?

Well, since that fused circuit only goes to the fuel pump and to the ECM, I would suspect the pump or the wire to it as being shorted to chassis ground. And since the car was in a rear end collision, the shorted wire is most likely.
