fuel pump and cooling fan not working

Default fuel pump and cooling fan not working

bought a 92 rs in december. car ran fine till last week. po took out tbi 305 and 700r4 put in 77 350 w/carb and 350 trans. didnt do a perfect job. last week fp and cooling fan stopped. if i out direct power they work. the fuse near battery for fp ecm is fine. all ideas would help. thanks

Fuel pump relay bad perhaps? And could be an unrelated issue with the cooling fan. Or maybe a bad ground somewhere that connects to both the pump relay circuit and fan circuit (if they did go out at the same time).

isnt you check engine light on. the ecm prolly isnt going to control much now. there should be a switch on the side of the block or on the intake that controls the fan. as for the fuel pump that could be the relay or wiring at the oil pressure switch above the oil filter.
