RE: a few newbie questions
Tremec makes your transmission. Its known as a T-5. its what i have in my 89 RS, but in front of that i have a crate 350. Stock pipe is 2 1/4" for your exhaust.
your thermo is located at the front of your intake manifold, when you replace it have a replacement gasket with you. As the old one will probably tear in half, or into about 20 pieces... Its under the Thermo houseing, easiest way to find it is to follow the upper radiator hose to the intake, it mounts up to the thermo houseing. Take the two bolts out, pull the old thermo, put the new one in after you clean the parts for your new gasket, put the new gasket on, and then bolt your housing back up. that simple, takes about 15 min if your new to it. Also, let it cool down before doing this, i dunno about you, but i dont like burning my hands....
