Default factory wheels

why is it the rhe factory wheels have front and rear stamped on them?

the iroc wheels have front and rear because they have different back spacing on the front and rear wheels

if you put rears on the front they rub the inner fenders and i can't remember but i think they also hit the knuckle somewhere but i exactly remember on the knuckle part. you can run 4 front wheels , but not 4 rear wheels.

They cast "front and rear" on Iroc wheels because of different offsets. But the major reason was to prevent dummies from mixing them up when they tried to rotate the tires. Also forpeople that don't understand the markings, the ones marked "FRONT" go on the front axle and the ones marked "REAR" go on the back axleof the car. Simple....
