How are you going to go about putting in the dual exhaust?

Running dual exhaust on a third gen isn't an easy feat. There is no "good" place to run true duals, and most that do it end up with scraping problems. Unless you absolutely need dual exhaust for racing purposes, a single, 3" pipe with a 2.5 or 3" Y-pipe will be plenty sufficient.

do you know if i would i have problems with clearance if i went with long tube headers instead of the shorties? Cause i had people tell me to go long tube but i did some research and most people seemed to do shortys-is that just cause theyre easier to install?

shorties should hook up to the original exhaust. the long tubes are where you start running into clearance problems.
