when i turn the lights, its like i turn the ignition off, all the gauges go to there resting area

 

not real sure of the yr but sounds like a ground problem. check along the column and under the kick pad, look for ground wire screws. will have to take some molding off. while your down there look around under the dash for lose or bare wires, special attention to the plugin n wires to the headlight switch.

 

i had an issue with that as well, it turned out the dash bulbs were grounding through the postive side of the circuit, so it would cancel out the gauges. i fixed it, but something else went wrong so i ended up just buying an aftermarket set of gauges. but it does sound ground related. i cant pinpoint it or even make a suggestion on where to start though
