est problem
could this lead to flooding? im getting this code and my car is flooding out and shuting off i was thinkin not enough fire to burn the gas. it dosent run rite at all, all it does is backfire then flood out and shut off. btw its a 350tpi

Check or replace your EST module. If needed I might have a flow chart in my manual to test it. I can scan and email it to you.
And just for the heck of it try unplugging the knock sensor. It sends a signal to the EST module and may be sending the wrong signal causing the timing to be off.

I brain farted on my first recomendation. The EST module (code 42) is the unit in the distributer. It can be taken out and tested at an Autozone or CSK. The ESC is the one that uses a signal from the knock sensor (code 43). I am emailing you a jpeg of the page with the test for the EST. You will need a multimeter to test it though.

checked the ohmsonthe est moduale,on the white wire of the 4 prong plug(D) read roughly -763 then when i put the testlight on B wire it read roughly 830 would this mean the moduale is gone also the testlight did not light up
