Default engine swap

I have a 1991 305 with cfi I want to put a 1972 350 chevy small block that I rebuilt a want to put in. My question is what do I need and can I eliminate the ECM any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

easiest would be to use all the sensors and throttle body from the 305 and keep the ecm. i think the head to intake bolt pattern/angles are different between the 91 and 72 so you may need to find a intake that will bolt to the heads, throttle body and will take the sensors from the 91.

As long as emission is not an issue you should just pull the ECM. Nice thing about third gens is they came with carbs back in the day so you can find just about any part you need at any chevy swap meet.

Factory TBI would starve a 350 and the tune would be all wrong.
