My driver door hinges are both loose. I have the replacement bolts and bushings coming one of the restorers. they are even greasable. I have seen Z28Andy's tips to replace them.

What I am not sure of is where I will find an electrical clip to disconnect the electric window from the wiring harness, so as to move the door apart and work it?
Will I find it inside the door. will I have to remove the door inside panel?

Any tips from anyone who has done this process?

i think the connector is inside the car, not the door, but my memory is foggy as its been a few years since i had a door panel off. my best advice is to find a strong friend to hold the door up will you replace the hinge parts one at a time. that or make a sling from some straps and support it another way
