hey i was wondering if a set of firebird doors will fit on a camaro??

 

All body parts from any F-Body will fit on any other F-Body from the same generation. Some will require replacing more than one part, but the doors will bolt right on no problem. They may look a little funny if the trim doesn't match, though.

 

Damn sagging doors. I spent 3 hours replacing my hinge bushings the other day. After all that work, it turned out to be the roller pin.

Now I gotta find a roller pin!! DOH!

Firebird fenders and quarters are not the same.

What bushings did you replace? Just the lower or did you find an upper kit? I had to replace my uppers and found a guy who makes shoulder bolts and bushings to fix em. Did not care for them too much but they work and were easier than a hinge. I think Napa has the roller where you grind off the swedged end of yours and knock it out then drop the replacment in and fasten it with a nut.

 

True, but they'll fit the car if the surrounding parts are replaced. The bumpers and hoods aren't the same either, but they'll bolt up, and if everything else is changed to match, they do fit. I never said it was a good idea, I just said they'll fit.

 

As far as i know..the doors should fit exactly the same..as for body parts the only difference between camaros and firebirds are the very front and the back area..
