Default Dillema with my 1984 V6 Berlinetta Camaro

Hey evryone! I have a 1984 Camaro Berlinetta V6 2.8l! My dream car!! I want to keep my 2.8l engine and have it rebuilt to a high performance engine. I do not have any experience in mechanics, so i am abit lost!!!! What could I do to give it more juice give it around 100-200hp!!! What will I have to change in my car so it could handle the power? What would be the cost (estimates)? Woul I need a new Transmisson? Could someone e-mail me at sivgreg@hotmail.com

hm. well. i suppose if your stuck on keeping the 2.8. if there is such a thing you could go full roller. um.. bore and stroke it out ( if thats possible) and stick some nitrous on it? the tranny is plenty strong to handle any kind of power that 2.8 is gona put out, same with the rest of the car. forced air might be what you need too..

question,, why so stuck on keepin the v6?

If you are looking to keep a V-6 in there and the 2.8 that you have is going bad upgrade to the 3.4 http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...p;ProdID=22494you will have more opition to work with if it were me i would drop a 350 in it like mabey this one http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...;ProdID=218098
