Default Dam mice!!!!

I just got my car out of winter storage today. Damn mice pissed all over my intake manifold. There is rust EVERYWHERE, my intake is all full of scaly **** reside and my chrome valve covers are all tarnished. Theres mouse poop all over.

I dont see any evidence of chewing, but the cosmetic damage alone is enough to sicken me. I used to have the nicest, shiniest engine bay. Now its a mess. ARGHHHHH.

Well that sucks. Next time, spread some moth ***** on the floor, around the tires. That'll keep the mice from crawling up and into the car. They could still drop down from above, if there was open access for them up there, but that would be more of a well planned out mission.
Oh yeah, keep traps set too. I caught over 10 mice in my garage since the fall.

I'm not condemning you, but you didn't check up on your car while it was in storage?

It was in a buddies garage. We had over 180 inches of snow this year. Access to the garage door was somewhat limited......plus Ive been gone training almost 2 weeks of every month since Autumn hit. Between the weather and my schedule, its the firt Ive seen of my car since I put her away.

I found a section of insulation pulled away and hanging just above the heater core. Im afraid to look deeper......

theres a nice pocket between the heater box and inner fender. i just found an old nest in mine the other day and used kitchen tongs to get it out. i always set out mouse poison in the fall as i have quite a few vehicles that sit for a while at a time

In my case at least, it's not exactly possible to drive my Camaro in the 3 feet of snow that we got, in average of -20 degrees, with no heater and causing engine damage the whole time.

There's a reason we park these cars in winter.

I think I avoided the mice though, everything seems exactly as I left it.
