I was getting around 230 on the highway on a cool day. Now on a warm day it's around 210.

single fan 305 TBI with everything new or rebuilt (not the fan), in traffic in Florida during the summer the temp would climb to over 200

on the highway, it would sit at around 195 which i believe was my thermostat

the 4th gen LT1 sits nailed at 180 even in traffic (it's tuned for that)

the 3rd gen fan is definitely weak and I did install a thermo switch for the fan to kick it on sooner

I agree these cars were ment to run on the hot side but that dose not mean it is alright.

I ran that temperature also without the A/C on and with the A/C it would go up to 230 deg.
Replaced the radiator and hoses and now about 180 avg city, highway and A/C on or off.
