when the water pump gives out, would it do the same thing the fuel pump does when it gives as in starts spewing fuel?

Probably missing the lower plastic air dam that hangs down below the rad. Common problem.

yea, could be the air dam on the bottom, radiator, cooling fan. is there any anti-freeze leaking into the interior? my heater core went out and anti-freeze poured onto my carpet around hard corners.

missing air dam isnt gonna overheat him in 5 minutes. Im also going with the water pump opinion, or a totally clogged radiator.....

Keep overheating it and a new engine is going to be on the agenda.

You might want to have the freeze plugs checked, I had that happen and they were all rotted out.

it would leak coolant SOMETIMES but it wasn't very much but not into the interior . I haven't driven it in about a month btw.
