Default Complete Interior fix

What's up guys, i'm new to the camaro world and was hoping for some advice. I just bought a 89 rs v6 5 speed, the interior needs to be completely re done. I have found multiple people on craigs list to get the parts from.
My question is where to start? I found a whole plastic interior set, including dash and everything for 25$. Should i replace the plastic, or replace it with a stronger material while im at it.
Pretty much everything you can think of needs to be done, seats, carpet, headliner, dash, middle console, windshield, etc.

I can't do everything now, im going to be slowly fixing it over time.

I would star with carpet, 4th gen seats and headliner (get a quotee from local shop. These would give te most visual impact and go from there.

I would agree with the above post. Winshields are cheap and should be done last, especially if you are considering paint as the winshlield seal would need to be removed anyway.

If you can find your plastic on craigslist, etc. and its good, then go for it. Its just that most of the 3rd gen stuff such as dashs are almost always cracked. I can tell you that a good upholstry guy can do some amazing stuff, if you get him the right material. I re-did my entire interior soft goods plus dash and even without console, and other misc. plastic pieces it was still pretty expensive probobly 2K when it was all said and done.

feel free to check out my restoration thread

https://camaroforums.com/forum/3rd-g...oration-55747/

I replaced all of my gray plastic for black plastic

replaced the rug, headliner, door panels, windows, sun visors and re-upholstered the seats with leather.

I also repaired my dash and after I finish painting this weekend, I begin to tackle the instrument panel.

Feel free to ask any questions because I'm living it right now.
