Default Clutch Questions

Hey guys, had a quick question. If I buy a clutch for my 85 z28 with a 5.0 and plan on replacing the engine with a 350 (around 300 HP don't want to blow the tranny up just yet ), Will this clutch work with the 350? I know I need one but I don't feel like doing the job twice if you know what I mean. Also the higher the stage # on the clutch I would assume is better right?

right, but are you putting the clutch in on the 305 then useing it on the 350, or waiting untill the swap to put it on?

Sorry about that I'm putting the clutch in while I have the 305 because it needs it badly.

maybe just put a cheap one on the 305. to get you by untill you have the 350. You could transfer them, but why not just use a new clutch for the 350? i wouldnt wanna have to tear it all down again to have to replace it because its to worn or something and breaks on ya.
