Default Clutch Bypass---HELP

I have a 91 Manual. My ex installed a Viper system on it a couple years back with remote start. I never use the remote anymore....I've had problems in the past where I turn the key and the motor doesn't turn over, but everything comes on. Before, he would always check the bypass and just replace the jumper wire. Well I went to work the other day, and when I went to go home, it was doin the same thing. I checked the bypass jumper, and replaced it, still nothing. My brother tried to push start my car, and it would fire up, but as soon as I released the clutch, it would die. Towed the car home, and I decided to try the remote, the car fires up no problems, but I can't start the car with the key. Anybody have any ideas on what I need to fix?
