Default Cleaning MAF 87 Z28 Question

Hey Guys,
Is it possible to remove the screans on the MAF or a 87 TPI? I've used the CRC cleaner but the front of the resistive wires are dirty and the backside of the wires are bright silver, so I don't know if it's doing it's trick. How would the screen be removed for cleaning?
Thanks

You can do anything you want with that Maf. Just hope you have a $300/400 for a new one.
Best policy with a Maf sensor is to leave it alone and don't mess with it.

The CRC Maf cleaner is not getting the wires clean. What should I try now to clean them?

I guess you can not read, DO NOT CLEAN the MAF WIRES. Burn off relay does that after every shut down. But again do what you want and learn a lesson.

Hey Blackz87,
Why not stay the F off my thread if you don't have anything to contribute. I can read and I don't need to trying to insult me on this.

Simply put: do not attempt to clean your MAF by taking it apart.

This is all.
