Default It chokes!

Well i just got the fuel pump replaced and for some odd reason the car is acting funny. When i barely press on the gas pedal it starts to shake violently as if its about to stall out then i floor it and its all good. The car just starts acting as if its choking and seems to almost die until i slam the pedal. What can it be, is my tranny going bad or the injectors or they effed up with the fuel pump.
Any help would be great

Have you checked fuel pressure as they are running and when you crack open the throttle? Fuel pressure regulator may be bad. Except for yours Rockin. Yours should have a carb. My dad had an 85 Z28 and one bad plug wire did that on his.

Can you show me a pic of it? Maybe I can replace it this weekend. Also it started to leak gas really badly from the vapor canister located next to the radiator. Can that be a related problem?

ok i just took it for a spin and when the car started to act up i pressed the clutch and gave it some gas and the car will still make a sputter sound with the clutch pressed. So its not the tranny. Also the car is idling tooo high. So i must be the regulator?
