car stalled
could have jumped a couple teeth on the timing chain. could be the ignition module but if your getting spark that sorta makes that one go away, a bad module can make it spark at the wrong time. was it backfiring. pull a plug out and see what it looks like. wet with fuel or not. while you have it out hook it to the plug wire and hold the metal part of the plug to a ground like the block or exhaust manifold and see if there is spark when the motor is turned over. you may have spark but to weak to spark on the old plugs. you should also test your maf, if its not showing air going by it will not give fuel to the motor.

I just changed the ignition coil, cap and rotor! Still will not start! Put the spark tester on it and still got no spark! When I get home from work I will check the plugs and check for spark that way! My vats system is flashing when I turn key on but doesn't when I turn the motor! I didn't notice it flashing when the car was running! Always looking at my gauges as I drive! You never know!
