car covers
Does any one have a cover they would recommend? My 92 has near perfect paint and would like to keep it that way. There are so many covers out there and the advertising claims are all to good to be true. Any advice will be appreciated. Jim

The only cover I would recommend would be a custom cover for a 3rd gen car and made from stormweave or similar type material. I have a cover from California Car Cover co for 18yrs now and it fits the car very well. They are not cheap, but it is better then the one size fit all.

DON'T get the $40 dollar one from the parts store. I did and within a week the seams were tearing from normal use. They have one for $75 that is made out of a different material, I think I'm going to take mine back and try it.
Fitment wise, the medium size universal car cover does fit pretty good IMO.

is it aftermarket or factory paint? If it's aftermarket then step up with the best cover you can afford. a good cover I use is wolf on my cars, not sure if they still make the cover though. ran me $145 and is basically microfiber on the inside and heavy duty outside. even has the spoiler built in for the z28 models.
If it's factory you can go a little cheaper but just make sure it's a snug fit. california or wolf are the only two i'd look at though.
