I have a 1990 camaro with a 305 in it. There was an electrical problem in the wiring, and I decided to put a carb on the engine until I replace the engine, and have a chance to replace the wiring harness later this year. I am wondering if there is any way to get the HEI to advance the timing in the distributer with a carb set up on the engine. I know it runs but I dont want to have to go to the big distributer if I dont have to.
