did you have the issue before? i've had reman starters burnout in 5 uses before. you could also have a loose or bad connection from replacing it. it sounds like the solenoid isnt getting power. you could try to send wire to ign. wire on the starter and see if it works then. if it doesnt, then its the starter. if it does, take the small wire off the solenoid and inspect it, then check it for power. check fuses and swap around relays.

You said it clicks when you turn the key. That rules out quite a few things.
Almost definitely a bad connection at the battery, bad ground on the frame or engine, or a bad connection at the starter.
Don't say all the connections are good, go back, remove all the grounds, hot leads, and starter connections, and clean them all and seal them with an anti corrosive zinc coating. Just because a wire is connect doesn't mean the connection is good.

yah, i hope its a simple one. we have had a real rash of this issue in the forth gen section. only one so far has found a bad connection. most of the others have not found the problem yet.

yep, dealing with that now on darling's car. new starter, new wiring, and it still has a slow crank on occasion. trying a new batt today. if that doesnt work, theres going to be a new starter going in again. its a good thing all the bolts are now easy to get in and out.
