26+ year old car with a possible 85K (???) miles in Canada. Unless you want to make this a project car and not a daily driver soon. You will have a good learning experience working on 3rd gen car. All your above questions are very possible. If the $750 is a lot of money to you, I would pass.

if your 16 and are just lookinh for something to drive pass it by. if your loking for a project, well then thats differet. I dont know the car your looking at , but I spent 700 on a 84 305HO with 5 spd t5 and stock 373 rear that was blown ( and tranny was messed up too and it sat for 10 years and I didnt know it was a v8 till I got it home and popped the hood, so I didnt even hear it run.) hell I didnt even know it had t tops till I got it home. all I know is my friends saw the car and told me I was a fool. all I have done is wash the heck outa it, fix te tranny, which was like a six hr job , replace the rear end, just to have the motor blow up on me and replacing that.............( with a 307 with a 350 stock cam). I was running low 12's this weekend and I have done nothing, so like I said what are you looking to do?? now my friedns are saying " dude, sweet". so again what are your plans? is it cross fire or carbed?etc etc.
you can see were I am at at cardomain.com look up jim022659
