Default bouncing tachometer

does anyone know why the tachs go crazy, ive seen more than 10 of these cars where the tach just goes ahywire doesnt read anything like its possesed or something, can you fix it? is it the tach or what? would you cut a hole and stuff another monster tach in it or what? id really like to fix the original.

please email me a bostongeorge@tmail.com thanks!!!

it could be a problem at the distributor cap, thats where the tac gets its reading in some of these cars... not sure which though, it might in fact be all.

I know when some of my tachs did that, it was the wire grounding out somewhere. I would check for good connections and make sure none of the wires are grounding out anywhere.
