Default Body Panels..

Does anyone know where I could find a place to get GM body panels instead of risking money with aftermarket stuff that might not line up?

generally speaking, any reputable aftermarket manufacturer will make a panel that fits as good if not better than stock panels, and finding oem parts for anything 20 years old (minus 350 engine parts) is pretty few and far between. try www.summitracing.com or www.hawksthridgenparts.com

www.Classicindustries.com or www.nextgenparts.com
But they are exspensive! Aftermarket parts are not that bad any more like they were 20 years ago. The better fitting ones will be CAPA approved.

Sweet deal.
Thanks for the quick replies guys. My uncle was a body man from the time he was about 16 'til 3 years ago, and was letting me know about the problems that the aftermarket products had. If the stuff doesn't line up, I guess I could always toss them up on eBay, right? lol

I did auto body repair for over 20 years. Thats why I say they have gotten better and when possible get CAPA approved. When a part did not fit we would return or exchange it. You would think if one did not fit none would but thats not true. And of course being a body shop if we returned it we would not get charged restocking.

Thanks for the tips Mike, I think I'll go with the aftermarket products. Might as well save where I can, as long as the look good, right?
