Bad U joint or ?????????

Bad U joint or ?????????

I recently got an 89 IROC 5.7 TPI. It has a posi-rearend not sure the ratio.

When I hit the gas hard something in the rear of the bangs.
Is this the U Joint or maybe excessive end play in the rear end?

check your transmission mount. when mine broke i thought it was something in the rear for a while.

It could be the transmission mount or thr torque arm bushing on the transmission tailshaft.
