Was going to buy these weld prostars. I need new tires and well these had almost new tires on them are sounded like a steal. but i missed out I found them a couple days to late.
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/ex...-prostars.html
he wanted 400 for the 4 of them.

15x8 fronts 15x10 rear. with a 5.5 back space/offset i think.

ok backspace and offset are 2 different things one is measured from the back of the wheel to where the hub is placed offset is the difference of where the hub sits to the center just to clear it up they are really cool american racing also makes the same design called the prostars i sent you a link to where you can get some they arent too bad of a price like 130 to 150 per wheel

thank i really only need tires. I like the look of our stock rims. Just firgured 250 for new tires and getting them mounted. 150 more i can get four nice rims with them lol.
Thanks tho.
Is my backspacing 5.5 and offset is 0? Does backspacing really matter? I couldnt see why it would except for visual looks.

lmao backspacing is just another way of explaning offset a front wheel drive vehicles usually have a negative offset which means the place where the wheel sits on the hub is more forward and im sorry i cant help you too much i dont think there is a discount tire in PA but i can help you pick some out if you know what size you would like to go with

Those Weld Prostars are great lightweight wheels for a straight line runner, but are a bad choice for using on a street car. Each spoke is a thin two-piece inner and outer sandwich design, and there is a solid aluminum mounting hub between them. Subjecting the wheels to sideways stress (taking turns) has been known to crack and cave them in where the spokes meet the hub. And taking fast turns (like in a Camaro), compounds the stress.

When you've been in the car hobby for over 34 years, you pick up a thing or three!

...and hopefully most of it isnt from accidents. i laughed at a guy at work, he just bought a 93 LX notch mustang. its lowered and has work done to it and he just bought prostars for it, 4 inch front, 10 inch rear. im going to laugh when he goes to take the turns on the road we travel on. i have a hard time keeping my blazer straight when its wet, and had a bad experience on it with my bike. ill just make sure i have my tow rope though
