Plans or suggestions on giveing my 89' V6 5speed with something like a 135.....a lot more horsepower ..................and what would it cost just gettin a whole new V8 put in?

 

the ONLY way to successfully generate more horsepower in a 2.8 is to spray it (nitrous) . the 2.8 was built for fuel economy and you could spend a fortune in internal mods and never get anywhere near what your looking for. a new nitrous kit will cost you about 300 on ebay. sick

 

I have a 2.8 V6 also. I have had a lot of fun with it. And it is true the V6 is mainly for just cruising but if you are looking at having some fun I have a sugestion......Auto X. I have done it and it is alot of fun and hey put some nice tires on there and you will be flying around the track.
