Default Advice

Not sure if this is the right section, or even if it's allowed, bit I need some outside opinion. I have an 84 berlinetta with American racing rims and nice fat tires, an all around sexy car. It has 120k on the body and the 700r4, 30k on the lg4 I put in it. My buddy wants to trade for his 89 RS with a 5 speed, t tops, and the 2.8 mpfi. The body has 175k and the engine has 25k. His paint and body are much better. He's talking a straight trade, even giving me cash. I feel I'm at least making a lateral move, what do you guys think?

I'd take the 305 over the 2.8 liter V6 any day, even if its an LG4.

But if I were to sell it, would the fresh motor and stick and t tops balance out the high body mileage?

keep your car. even if you had the idea of swapping the motor out of the 89, the trans in there wont work. resale value on either car probably isnt all that high either way
